Hunt at Home was established by Hunt Senior Living, the parent company which operates Hunt Community and The Huntington at Nashua.  The Hunt at Home program, approved in 2011 by the New Hampshire Insurance Department, is the natural progression of our mission to deliver alternatives in retirement living to area seniors.   That mission includes providing an affordable life care program for people who wish to remain in their homes as they age.

Today, the average life expectancy for someone aged 65 is another 18 years or more, and most of us would prefer to spend those years in our own home, knowing our savings and independence are protected.  Yet the possibility of illness or injury increases greatly as we age.  In fact, seven out of ten people over the age of 65 experience some life-altering health event.  If you become ill, have a stroke or a fall, it is critical to know who will take care of you and how you will pay for your care. 

Hunt at Home offers you a confident choice.  It is the first program regulated by the New Hampshire Department of Insurance as a Continuing Care at Home (CCAH) program. 

Simply put, the Hunt at Home program allows an eligible person to live in their existing home and still receive many of the services of a Continuing Care Retirement Community.
